Terms of Sale

These terms apply when you buy a planting plan or gift voucher from My Planting Plan. By buying, you agree to them. "We", "us" and "our" mean Dutywise Ltd, trading as My Planting Plan. You must be 18 or over to buy. Our Privacy policy explains how we use your information.

3.1 Your plan is made from your answers, using plants from our own list. It's shown on a private web page and as a PDF you can download and keep.

3.2 It gives general planting suggestions. Nobody visits your garden, and it isn't professional garden design. Plants vary with weather, soil and care, so sizes and flowering times are typical, not exact.

3.3 We mark plants on our list known to be harmful if eaten, harmful to cats, irritating to skin or thorny. No list covers everything, so always read plant labels and keep an eye on children and pets.

3.4 We don't sell plants. Any shops we link to are separate businesses.

Prices are in pounds sterling and shown before you pay. The price you see is the price you pay. Payments are taken by our secure payment provider, and we don't see or store your full card details.

5.1 Plans: before you pay, we ask you to confirm you'd like your plan straight away and that you understand you'll lose your 14-day right to cancel once it's shown to you. Once your plan is shown, you can't cancel.

5.2 Gift vouchers: you can cancel an unused gift voucher within 14 days of buying it by emailing help@myplantingplan.co.uk. Its code then stops working.

If your plan isn't as described, email help@myplantingplan.co.uk and we'll fix it or make you a new plan. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

7.1 A voucher can be used towards any plan we sell. Any amount left stays on the code until it expires. It's valid for 24 months from the day it's bought, and can't be exchanged for cash or resold.

7.2 Anyone with the code can use it, so keep it safe. If an email is lost, we can send it again to the address we have.

7.3 If you ask us to email a gift, we'll send it at about 7am UK time on the date you choose. Please check the email address carefully. You can change the date or cancel the email until it's sent.

Your plan and our plant list, wording and website belong to us. You can view, download, print and keep your plan, and share it with family, friends or a gardener who helps you. You must not sell or publish it, copy our plant list or website, or use automated tools to copy our content or guess gift codes.

We're responsible for loss you suffer that's a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. We're not responsible for plants that don't do well because of weather, soil, care, pests or disease, for answers that weren't accurate, for shops you buy from, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

We may update these terms. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown when you bought. If you have a complaint, please email us first and we'll try to sort it out. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

• Our gardening guides are digital content supplied as PDF files. When you buy, you'll get a download link on screen and by email.
• Before you pay, we ask you to agree that your guides are made available straight away, and that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once the download is available.
• Each guide is licensed for your own personal use. You may print copies for yourself. You may not copy, share, sell or upload a guide, in whole or in part.
• Guides give general gardening information for UK gardens. Plant sizes, flowering times and the best time for each job vary with weather, soil, location and care.
• If a download doesn't work, email us at help@myplantingplan.co.uk and we'll sort it out.
