My Planting Plan is run by Dutywise Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17498786. We are the controller of the personal information in this policy. (a) Your garden answers: your part of the UK, your border's size and conditions, and your preferences. We don't ask for your name, address or phone number.

(b) Your email address, to send your plan and receipt.

(c) Gift details if you buy a gift: your first name, the recipient's first name, your message, and the recipient's email address if you ask us to email it.

(d) Payment details: our payment provider collects your card details. We receive only limited information, such as your name and the last four digits of your card.

(e) Messages you send us, and technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit.

(a) To make your plan, send it to you and take payment. Lawful basis: contract.

(b) To deliver gifts on the date chosen. Lawful basis: contract and our legitimate interests.

(c) To send one email about three weeks later asking how your border is going. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests. You can stop these emails with one click.

(d) To keep our website secure, stop misuse of gift codes, fix problems and improve our plans. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.

(e) To meet our legal duties, such as keeping accounts. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

We use an AI service to help write the short descriptions in your plan. It sees your garden answers and the plants chosen, but not your name, email address or gift details. We don't send marketing emails.

If you buy a gift, we only use the recipient's details to deliver it and send emails about their plan. We tell them who it's from. Please only give us someone's email address if you're happy for us to contact them about your gift.

We only share personal information with service providers who help us run our website (such as hosting, payments, email and security checks), our professional advisers, authorities when the law requires it, and anyone who buys our business. We don't sell your information. Where our providers handle information outside the UK, we make sure it is protected as UK data protection law requires.

Answers for previews you don't buy: 90 days. Orders and plans: 6 years, for tax and accounting and so you can get your plan back. Gift recipients' email addresses: 90 days after the gift is delivered, or after the voucher is used or expires. Messages and technical logs: no more than 2 years.

You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or stop using it, or send it to you in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email help@myplantingplan.co.uk. We'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy, please tell us first. We use cookies and browser storage that are needed to remember your answers while you fill in the questions, remember your cookie choices and keep our forms secure.
